Jess the Border Collie

Jessie was wonderful until she was 8 months old, obedient and always came back on walks. However, she then decided she was the boss and started to rule us!

From spending 2 hours in a field trying to get her back, to a fixation with the rabbit in the garden, to running circuits of the garden barking. She was also petrified of the vacuum cleaner and lawn mower and regularly waking at 5 in the morning!

Time for Sally who soon taught US (not Jess) how to be boss – we had a lot to learn and were constantly told off by Sally!

Jess has progressed really well, walks perfectly on a lead, is docile in the garden and has nearly combated her fears of the vacuum cleaner and lawn mower. She has been let off once with great success and will continue this with sally for a while.
