Poppy the Boxer

Poppy the Boxer

Well, miracles really do happen. At the end of our tether with our two and a half year old Boxer's constant barking, aggressive behaviour to both family and visitors, pulling on the lead, no recall whatsoever, with a fairly long list of other issues and starting to worry about the behaviour worsening further, we made the call to Sally knowing something had to change.

In just our first session Sally showed us that although we thought we'd been in charge Poppy was in fact running things and everything we had tried was just reinforcing this behaviour and accelerating the downward spiral we found ourselves in.

Through a clear explanation and demonstration of what was wrong and what changes had to happen and why, Sally has enabled us to discover already the delightful dog we had been craving and Poppy had so desperately wanted to be. A few home truths are sometimes hard to take, however Sally approaches this task with only one thought in mind and that is to give her clients both human and canine the perfect chance to be the happy family everyone wants to be. We have a lot of work ahead but we go willingly on this road having seen the amazing results of Sally's knowledge and experience in Poppy's first session and knowing that she's there with us giving us the necessary guidance and support every step of the way.

Thank you Sally

UPDATE: So for the second session with Sally I thought there was no way we could move forward much, how wrong I was.

Plenty of instruction on how to control and provide interest to Poppy whilst out walking, with lots of demonstration and answering my many questions at the same time.

She had poppy walking alongside one of her Alsatians as if they'd grown up together not just met 5 minutes before.

Now all I have to do is practice practice practice before our next get together.
