After you left we went for a short afternoon walk and he remained by my side, did not pull, or lunge at other distractions; this is a great start. I feel that it is possible for Ted to become a good citizen, and with the gentle reinforcement of his new commands, every day will show our improving relationship.
This morning he has also kept off his favourite chair - following two attempts to sit there (the chair lives!). And now, following after a bit of pacing about wondering what he should be doing he's realised that this is our 'quiet time' and has settled happily in his crate. (The cat too has had a somewhat calmer morning, although we've got a bit of work still to do there!)
I look forward to my walk with Ted today, and to your visit next week, when I hope you will see huge differences.
Thank you Sally,
Kind regards,
Katie
