Tilly the Jack Russell

We took on my mother’s 4 year old Jack Russell 2 months ago after she was unable to look after her any more. For as long as I can remember Tilly has had issues. She gets possessive over food, toys and even people, becoming aggressive and has bitten on various occassions. She pulls on the lead, hurls herself at motorbikes, buses and other large vehicles and goes for other dogs whilst on walks. She has ruled the house and been leader of the pack for too long.

It has got to the stage where she will have to be put down if she continues to act in this way. However, we truly believe there is a good dog in there somewhere and so we are willing to work hard and try to make her better, whatever it takes. That is why we have contacted Sally.

We have just had our first session with Sally. She has explained that we need to become the dog’s leader, and in doing so she will learn to trust us. The first session lasted almost 5 hours and we have made great progress already. She showed us how she acts with her gorgeous dogs, proving that her methods do work. She has given us hope that we will be able to save Tilly and have a lovely, obedient dog who only wants to please us at the end of it all, although it will be a long road ahead.
